Free help for small businesses

We’ve brought together some of the UK’s most talented marketing agencies and professional service companies to support businesses in Nottingham. To receive a share of £130,000 of advice and support you simply need to apply. There are no further obligations on you other than to attend when you say you will (so that your place is not wasted).

What will you receive?

One or more of the following services, free of charge. All of the services will be delivered in Nottingham.

• A place on a business workshop
• 12 months’ worth of mentoring support for one company chosen from the day’s workshop.
• Product and comms review and first stage concepts for a creative campaign
• Brand review
• 5-day workshop on developing and marketing your website
• SEO and PPC consultancy and strategy planning through a workshop and one to one consultancy
• Website user experience analysis of the company’s online presence i.e. website, apps, email and social media
• An ‘SME 101’ legal workshop

Eligibility

• You need to be a small business (a sole trader with no more than 49 employees or one partner of a partnership which must comprise no more than 50 partners and employees in total; or an owner or director of a limited company which has no more than 50 employees in total).
• Your business should be based in Nottingham and either in the digital content sector and / or within the CQ boundaries.

Timetable

• You need to apply by 20th December 2014.
• You will be advised if you’ve been successful by 19th January 2015.
• Services should be accessed on the dates advised but you will be given at least a month’s notice.

Criteria

We want to help businesses grow and become more successful. We are therefore looking for businesses with potential. You may be a one man band or a thriving business. Simply tell us how this support could help and the partners at Citizen will judge your application.

Entry process
